Premarital counseling
Premarital counseling, before the wedding
For engaged pairs who want to talk through family, money, children and how they argue, in sessions of 50 or 80 minutes.
Some pairs in Las Vegas marry within weeks and some plan for a year. Sessions fit either: tell us your date when you write, and we look for the earliest openings.

Method, length and payment
The method
Harish often starts with the Gottman method's questionnaire, which each of you fills in. Rebeca often uses Imago dialogues. Each method has its own training body.
Compare the three methodsWhat this is not
It is not a test you pass, and we do not tell you whether to marry. It is not a religious program, and we do not ask about faith unless you bring it up.
Length and frequency
Sessions are 50 or 80 minutes, and the first is 80. There is no set number: your clinician sets the pace with you and does not promise a count.
How it is paid
One fee for each session, not one for each of you, given to you in writing before you start.

Questions
Questions about premarital counseling
How many sessions do engaged pairs book?
There is no set number. Some pairs come a few times, some more. Your clinician sets the pace with you.
Do we need to be religious?
No. Tether is not a religious practice. If faith matters to either of you, you can bring it into the sessions.
Can we come if the wedding is soon?
Yes. Say the date when you write, and we look for the earliest openings.
